When purchasing a commercial condominium unit, there is a need to understand the condition of the unit (that you are responsible for), as well as the financial well being of the reserve fund. CDW Engineering can provide a prompt and professional condition assessment of the Unit.

As part of our assessment, we request access into the main electrical room of the building, in order to verify the size of electrical service to the unit and the metering arrangement. While the roofing system is typically a common element component and not part of the Unit, we will access the roof as necessary, to review the Unit owned HVAC equipment.

CDW Engineering will also review the Schedule C of the condominium Declaration before the assessment. This allows us to fully understand the unit boundaries and therefore, the responsibility for repairs or replacements.
